Has Gtk been around for so long as to have been on libc5 systems?
Those are.. prehistoric. I mean the transition was in 1998 or so.

Heh. Considering where Linux was six years ago and where it has
gotten in this timeframe, it's almost comical to think about the
people grimacing about "Linux on the desktop" as if it was some
kind of pipe dream.
