I have been left behind a little when it comes to GTK. Is it possible
for GTK apps to run under GTK2?

Yes, though there are a few changes. I believe there is a man page
describing the differences, though I can't find the reference right now.
My experience it that it takes about 10-15 minutes to fix a 500 line
long Gtk; application. Your milage may vary.

Thanks again

Andy

Gtk-Perl is for gtk1. You want to use perl-gtk2 which is a rewrite.
You can get it from http://gtk2-perl.sourceforge.net/ .

I have installed gtk+-2.2.4 along with its full list of dependencies but
Gtk-Perl is looking for gtk-config (apparently part of gtk-devel - am I
right!!)

Thanks
