I've some time, right now, and I'm beginning to work on this.  Right
know, I plan to do a 1:1 port of the GTK tutorial (well, in a perlish
way, obviously) , but it could be extended later on. Translations in
other languages could also help.

I've completed chapters 1-3, complete with examples, and moving on...
