I want to design a GUI which has a canvas containing text, images, and

success.
I'd like to know if I can do this with gTk before I get too involved.
this sort of thing is possible using the gnome libraries
(Gnome2::Canvas / libgnomecanvas is a port of the Tk Canvas,
Gnome2::Print / libgnomeprint handles the printing infrastructure), but
i have never tried it myself.
anyone?

How come hair colors for women take an hour, but "wash out the gray"
