how to catch a click onto a non editabl text cell in a TreeView?

Hello!

i have 2 fields in a table that should be in fact buttons (but i don't
really care for the look, as long as i am able to catch the clicks
on them). since there isn't a ready lying around CellRenderer for
buttons i used a text renderer, but as it seems it only accepts the
signal edited....

is there a way to connect the activate signal to those cells? or what
signal can i use that is triggered when the cell is clicked?
