Bonobo stuff isn't strictly needed for creating the binding. My job
compiles correctely, but when launching a perl applet, from the panel,
it exits with an error. I find debugging very hard, since it's all
inside a bonobo connection...

I'll put up a release, and let someone else, with a better insight of
libpanelapplet than me, spot my mistakes...
