i can report a pretty much successful compile of HEAD on (amd64, suse):
Linux amd64-linux1 2.4.21-143-smp #1 SMP Thu Oct 30 23:48:07 UTC 2003
x86_64 unknown
rwmcfa1 amd64-linux1:~/lib/gtk2-perl-xs/Gtk2> pkg-config --modversion
gtk+-2.0
2.0.6
obviously compiling doesn't mean that it's working, but this is with the
new (very thorough test suite)
muppet commited a few fixes found during the process, mainly dealing
with gpointer/guint interactions.
there was one test failure which is not Gtk2's fault:
t/GtkFontSelection...........NOK 8# Failed test
(t/GtkFontSelection.t at line 25)
# got: 'sans 12'
# expected: 'Sans 12'
t/GtkFontSelection...........ok 9/9# Looks like you failed 1 tests of
9.
t/GtkFontSelection...........dubious
Test returned status 1 (wstat 256, 0x100)
DIED. FAILED test 8
Failed 1/9 tests, 88.89% okay
t/GtkFrame...................ok
and one spew of warnings, these seem to be fixed in later gtk+ rel's:
t/GtkViewport................Gtk-WARNING **: unable to find signal
handler for object(GtkAdjustment:0x405fabe0) with func((nil)) and
data(0x403207a0) at t/GtkViewport.t line 19.
Gtk-WARNING **: unable to find signal handler for
object(GtkAdjustment:0x405fabe0) with func((nil)) and data(0x403207a0)
at t/GtkViewport.t line 19.
Gtk-WARNING **: unable to find signal handler for
object(GtkAdjustment:0x405fabe0) with func((nil)) and data(0x405fbe20).
Gtk-WARNING **: unable to find signal handler for
object(GtkAdjustment:0x405fabe0) with func((nil)) and data(0x405fbe20).
t/GtkViewport................ok
we may have to make better use of the sourceforge compile farm in the
future, but the beauty of the Gtk2-Perl being wrappers is that there's
not a lot of places for problems to occur.
