And Ross agrees with Larry, which I'm sure his "(heh)" was meant to imply:

That said, Aristotle's proposal looks good to me. My only concern is that
it prevents us from adding any more features to the tied interface, since
there are only two available fields: values (at index 0) and children (all
the other indices). I can't see this being a real problem, though.
