well, after compiling rc3 the clipboard errors disappeared.
The problem is, i use $clipboard->set_text("some_text") and nothing
happens to clipboard.
Im setting text for SELECTION_PRIMARY and SELECTION_CLIPBOARD as
suggested in the C documentation.
Any idea?

er, that's the wrong cvs module -- gtk2-perl and gnome2-perl are the
old, pre-0.20, Inline-based bindings. you need to check out the
gtk2-perl-xs module, which contains all the current modules.
the naming here, obviously, is confusing; i apologize, but that's just
how this project has evolved.
So, i wasn't able to verify the Clipboard stuff or the paintable set of
functions that Ross added to CVS.
anoncvs has been at least 24 hours behind for the last several months,
so we've been posting full source (as tarballs and recently srpms) each
week.
