i just commited a fix for a problem in one of the tests, GnomeIconEntry, where
set_max_saved was being called and according to the eariler skipped test it
doesn't exist until 2.3.3 so it should check to make sure that version is
2.3.3.  just wanted to warn you unless it wasn't the right thing to do.

there was another error below, but i'm not familiar with that stuff so i'll
leave it to someone else to address who does know.
