Hmm. It's not working for me. I changed the line to be:
my $font = Gnome2::Print::Font->find_closest_from_full_name("Times New
Roman 24");
and I'm still getting this result:
Found: Andale Mono Regular
It's not returning an array is it?
If it's returning an array, the only item in the array is the entry for
the 'Andale Mono' font. A quick foreach shows nothing but that one.
:-(
Andale Mono is also an MS core font - if it can see Andale Mono it
should also see Times New Roman.
Doh! Didn't notice that! But it still only makes the mystery more
interesting...
I played around a bit with gnome-font-install and checked my
~/.gnome/fonts/gnome-print.fontmap and it looks like it knows about all
the fonts.
Thanks for your help guys!
