Newbie: problem running gtk-perl

Hi All,

I have installed gtk-perl from RPMs (it did not
compile).
Now I can see Perl-Control Center and Perl-Server menu
items. But this is all I have. I don't see any Perl
plugins I try to install. That's the problem.

"Feature status" gives me:

gtk1.2 Yes
gtk1.3 No

Error log is empty.

Setup: Redhat 9.0, i386, GIMP 1.2.3
