RE: Compile Error 0.7008

Actually I have run into this very same problem, but only in RedHat 8.0 (not
in 7.3). It seems that the files are being made, but to the wrong directory.
If you do a cp *.o xs; cp *.o build from each Subdirectory as it gives you
the errors, it will eventually compile, but that's no fun. I'm thinking it
has something to do with GCC3 make under RH8... Haven't had time to look
into it further.

Looks like it didn't do the make part of the make install.  Not sure 
how this would happen.  Obviously,  though,  gcc is looking for those 
object files and ont finding them.

Do you have any parts of the message from befor the stuff you included?
