gtk-perl for gtk2. how to start?

Hi all.

I'm dying to use gtk-perl with gtk2, but as it seems nobody has started
the work yet :((.

I would do coding and testing, but I do not have an idea even how gtk-perl
was written (I do not understand yet the xs magics and such). So can
anyone give pointers or hint where to start?

Or did anyone started the work? I'm sure a lot of people would be
interested.


ps: And hey, the Ada guys have already done it! :>
