Compiling Gtk-perl-0.7006 i get this message of both of my LFS machines

make[1]: *** No rule to make target `build/perl-gtk-ref.pod', needed by 
`manifypods'.  Stop.
make[1]: Leaving directory `/mnt/1/Gtk-Perl-0.7006/Gtk'
make: *** [subdirs] Error 2

i got no idea whats up.. any idea on what's happening would be appreciated. 
i need to get Gtk-perl working for the gimp...
