Emmanuele, Neil Gorman's email didn't even suggest that was an option. He published two lists: Mailing lists deemed worthy of migration to Discourse and those deemed unworthy. These were on the unworthy list. I'm sure you know from lurking here for several years that the topic here is mostly the gtk-osx modulesets with occasional visits to gtk-mac-integration and gtk-mac-bundler. I've generally pushed anything involving Gtk itself to the appropriate place, though that hasn't come up in a long time. That won't change even though the venue does. Meson is a nice build system, but not all projects are able to migrate to it; some teams might even like something else better. There are a lot of projects, even in Gnome Core, that have dependencies that don't build with meson, so subprojects aren't an option. jhbuild, for better or worse, remains the most flexible and easy to use build-from-source package manager.(Other contenders: paceman, BSD ports, and emerge; all are harder to use and have more overhead.) Regards, John Ralls
