I guess that depends on your definition of "close". I don't find Qt applications to be particularly mac-like,
though I'll admit that they do a better job than Gtk-quartz. Wx is closer still, FWIW, because it wraps the
actual Cocoa UI functions instead of drawing its own.
Not sure what you mean by "more friendly", but well-written patches with tests are always welcome.
