My bad, I didn't pay attention that the stable moduleset used a tarball
while the other modulesets used git. And the commit log was far too terse.
I'll resend a fixed patch with more explanations. I've been hitting
libtool-related build failures on Lion with the liboil tarball, and running
libtoolize/autoreconf makes them go away. I've assumed this is a libtool
bug that has been fixed, and that we need to update the libtool scripts
shipped with the tarball with a newer version.
