If I understand correctly you're saying I shouldn't even file a bug if the issue is not on Linux, right? Can you point me at any place where this could be discussed? I'm sure having the ability to open an external link, even just for an about section, is kinda essential. Thanks

The vast majority of GTK+ development happens on and within the context of Linux platforms and their issues/designs/needs. GTK+ continues to function and even be improved on Windows and OS X because there are a few applications using GTK+'s touted cross-platform abilities. When those applications run into issues, most of the time the problems get fixed, typically with involvement from developers of those apps. If there are problems not encountered by those apps, or if they are discovered by someone not willing to get involved in GTK+ itself, they will likely persist for some unbounded period of time.

The vast majority of GTK+ works as expected on OS X.
