This approach won't work here because widgets that are part of GTK+
are tightly integrated into that library and cannot be easily compiled
as standalone units.

Your best bet here would be to copy gtkfixed.[ch] files into some
folder, rename them to something like myfixed.[ch] and then manually
edit the code by replacing everything named gtk_fixed_ with my_fixed_,
removing references to internal headers, removing single include
headers, ... Or if I rephrase myself, you'll be busy for some time
now;)
