drag-move / drag-translation

Hi list!

I'd like part of my user interface to use a GtkFixed widget with
images that the user can drag around within the GtkFixed area.

I don't want to use the term "drag and drop" because that implies
things that I don't want. The user should just be able to click and
hold down the mouse button to move or translate the positions of
individual widgets within the GtkFixed area.

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks!
