sorry, this is misunderstanding.
i have thought one thing and wrote the second :)
my fault.

in other words we both agree, that the default settings
are contraintuitive.

i hacked the sources for myself, but i think it would be
fine, when the defaults for gtk would be inversed.

should i file the bug ?
