Yes, I have noticed this one, too. There is a bug report open for it,
#317080 (http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=317080 ). It has a
patch attached that is more complete than yours. I guess I'll just
apply that patch now that the bug has been confirmed ;)

OK. I will try to remember to fix that once I get around to build a
newer version of gettext.

Hmm, do you mean that dynamically switching locale actually works also
for the GTK+ widgets? The consensus by those who should know seem to
be that it can't really work, see bug #313736 and
http://live.gnome.org/GTK%2B/DynamicLanguages . Or maybe I
misunderstand, and as long as the app is specially prepared for it, it
can work. Cool!
