Done. Now,
pindar darkstar:~$ xmms

but...
pindar darkstar:~$ ls -l /lib/libc*6
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 13 Jan 5 11:08 /lib/libc.so.6 -> libc-
2.2.3.so*
...gonna need another tweak or two :~[
I notice glib, the original pkg, has a completely different setup, putting
files in /opt/gnome for example. This new glib-1.2.10 doesn't even
use /opt/gnome. Is that significant?
