Re: Motif vs. GTK+



Another strong reason to shift to GTK would be, if you want your application
to be accessible to visually impaired or handicapped people. GTK widgets
expose standard ATK interfaces which most screen readers can extract and
understand.

So, if your application might need to be accessible sometime, or you would
want to convince governments to adopt your software, GTK should be the
toolkit that you might want to stick to.

Making Motif widgets work with ATK will require a lot of work, and it'll be
a non-trivial task.
