Hmm...

This is the first time I've played with pixbufs; anyone have any
idea if there is something wrong with just calling:

gtk_image_set_from_pixbuf (GTK_IMAGE(image), buffer);

I've confirmed the pixbuf is fine, but all that get's rendered is
a black square of pixels.
