gtkrc

Hi,

I am new to programming using gtk and I've created
some test programs using it. How do I change the font,
etc? Do I have to edit ~/.gtkrc? When I do so, or use
gnomecc, other apps are affected, e.g. dia, but not my
programs. Why is this the case? I am using
gtk2-devel-2.0.2-4 that comes with my RedHat 7.3.

Please help.
