I'm having a similar problem to the one posted on 9th April...
http://www.geocrawler.com/mail/msg.php3?msg_id=8346067&list=94
System: Debian unstable + XFree 4.2
Using Pango from CVS. It builds and installs without warnings or
problems. However, whenever an application attempts to use the installed
library, it gets:
rossg localhost:~/workshop/gnome/pango$ examples/pangoft2topgm
examples/HELLO.utf8
lt-pangoft2topgm: relocation error:
/home/rossg/workshop/gnome/pango/pango/.libs/libpangoft2-1.0.so.0:
undefined symbol: FT_Get_First_Char
This all came from trying to get Thai fonts working in gedit, as all I
was getting for each characted was the box with the unicode byte values
in (http://www.golder.org/~rossg/tmp/2002_05_07_201826_shot.jpg).
Any ideas as to what might be wrong?
Thanks,

Ross
