IRIX 6.5.15m gtk build problem

Hi,

I am trying to move from gtk 1.2 to 2.0 on an SGI running
IRIX 6.5.15m.  Everything except gtk builds and installs.
The error I encounter is:

It is as if some (pango related) stuff (as gdk_pango_context_get)
from gdk/x11 is not being passed. I am most likely doing something
stupid. I have installed all the dependent programs (I think) and
am using gcc version 3.0.4.  Has anyone ported the new version of
gtk to an IRIX box?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
