odd question...

Is there any looking into upgrading the <CVS>/gtk+/examples directory to
actually support gtk-2.0? :)

Us newbies to gtk-2.0 have trouble updating gtk-1 programs without working
examples. Not to be difficult or anything :)
(I've gone to gtk-2.0 due to linux-fb support.... long story but suffice
to say I'm considering downgrading back to a "public" gtk.. not a bug
issue it's just that I don't know how the new gtk works yet *sigh*)

so I definitely couldn't write this...
Thank y'all fer any help with this :)
(SOO much has changed...)

actually the biggest problem so far has been to 'configure' scripts that
expect gtk-config and family to work. The trouble is I have -no- idea how
to fix these problems....
And note that a good portion of the rest of the gnome CVS has problems
with this too (gnome-libs being a good example last I checked :)

G'day, eh? :)
