on the "examples/entry" (current CVS)

for some reason the cursor jumps around a lot - and the text output is
jumbled.  No I -don't- know enough to know if this is gtk+, pango (one of
the fonts?  I have pangoxft, pangoft2), glib, or something else.

I've also noticed that listbox's text output is corrupt.

I do hope this helps someone - or someone can point me closer to what I
should be a-fixing...
