      Thanks for the hints. Infact I had already
downloaded gtk+-1.2.8, but forgot glib-1.2.8. Will
check.

  A good way to search the mailing lists that I've
found is to download them,
  uncompress them, and then egrep them for keyword(s).
 Once you've found a match
