I don't know if I get both of the events the first time I select the items,
but they still don't behave the way they suppose to.  Do you group your
items?  I know that you have suggested to use a hash_map to keep track of
radiomenuitem widgets, do you still use that or you have switched to
get_radiomenuitem_widget(path)?

I think that it infact is the same problem, though I have only been struggling
with it for like 2 weeks....

Yes, I also use Gtk--, but I don't think that that is the case for the error
