RE: [gtk-list] Re: Slowness of c++]

Mario ,

I didn't mean to piss you off,

But that is the result I got yesterday!
I should have mentioned that it was a first impression.

I'll be looking at the reason for the problem.

BTW I'l try VDK on my 5.3 distro as soon as I have a chance. I also like the
Bor-land feel you gave VDK.

I've trying a few tools similar to yours, I was pissed at the fact that it
didn't run as I expected on my box (not blaming your tool here either).

Check out my (incomplete web page).
http://pages.infinit.net/bdse

Look for VDK near the bottom

Send me a banner or .GIF and I'll use it.

Cheers

i suppose you used testvdk program that is the most comprehensive one and
that
tests almost all vdk features.
Well, on my box : PII 200 mhz with 64 mb of RAM testvdk never eats more
than
15% of cpu time (peek) and never more than 4% of ram.
VDK has more than 200 user at this time, nobody reported me slowness problem
neither system killing.
However everyone is free to use whatever tool he/she prefere,
i'm aware to make vdk better and better, resolve problems and fix bugs, but
please i can't fight with generic and undocumented complains.

regards
/mario
