Announcement of
gtkdatabox-0.1.7.0 and
gfit-0.1.7.0
Both may be found at
http://www.eudoxos.de/gtk/ or
http://www.eudoxos.net/gtk/ or
ftp://ftp.eudoxos.de/
gtkdatabox is a widget that may be used to display large amounts of
numerical data. It is capable of showing multiple datasets as dotted
curves or in a false color 3d display.
Examples of usage are documented with images on the webpages and a
testprogram that comes with the sources.
gfit is a program that is useful for fitting a theoretical model to some
data (i.e. measured curves with noise). Models consist of one or more
basic functions and are assembled using a simple scripting language.
Plugin support for data loading functions as well as non-basic model
functions is planned and will come with the next release.
Greetings,
Roland Bock
