hello again,

sorry if i directed this to the wrong place, it's just the problem i have no
experienced with anything else but gtk, thus my assumption that it was to do
with gtk :)

the reason i delete the old libraries is because that way i can tell what
programs need to be recompiled. 

anyway, i'll go now and subscribe to debian user then.
