You need to add the path to glib in ld.so.conf (or add the path to
LD_LIBRARY_PATH) and run ldconfig after that as root so the ld.so.cache
is rebuilt. You also need to add the bin (ie /opt/path/to/glib/bin) path
to $PATH.
