Is the win32 port being integrated?

I saw on /. that there now is a win32 port of gtk, but the
announcement didn't seem very enthusiastic.  Are there any further
plans for it, i.e. will it integrated into the mainline sources?

I have been playing with gtk-- under Unix since I read the
announcement and like it very much, but eventually I'll need to be
able to compile the program under MS-Windows.
