Unfortunately, what if someone needs another color system. I
could use integers, but then I have to deal with what
is the difference between OpenGL color range and X color
range.:( Float normalize RGB is best. ( but not necessary)
Also CIELuv, CIEHUV, etc. are not supported under the
original Xlib.
To my knowledge Xcms first appeared in X11R5. It was
listed in the book "Xlib Programming Manual" by Adrian Nye.
Which is why I though to would be very common by now. (
I don't know of any venders that are still shipping X11R4)
