Well, take a look at my RpmWatch package on
ftp://ftp.iaehv.nl/pub/users/grimaldo/rpmwatch-1.1-1.noarch.rpm
Obviously it works only with RPM ;-) not quite as complete as ap-get
but hopefully it will get there as soon as I implement the new features.
It does look at the Errata HTML files, filters it, gets the names of
the RPMs and gives you a report based on what you have on your system.
