I'm with you on that one. I have to notice that some outstanding stuff
does get "backported" (?) from Gnome to Gtk+ though, e.g. GtkPlug and
GtkSocket. Maybe this could be the case with the toolbar docking as
well.
And no, I don't want to get into a discussion about what are the roles
of Gtk+ and Gnome in application development.
