can anyone help me with XSetTransientForHint()

surely one of you gurus out there have used this. can 
someone send me a working example of this with Gtk.


XSetTransientForHint(display, w, prop_window)
      Display *display;
      Window w;
      Window prop_window;

how can i get the above arguments from Gtk structures?
someone please rescue me...
