GTK Crash

	What causes this ?

IOT trap/Abort

	I compiled gtk+-1.1.5 and nothing of the test programs run
	including simple.  yet gimp 1.0.2 runs fine !
	
	gtk1.0.6 runs fine in its test programs yet 
	compiling gtk1.1.5 --with-threads=posix does not run 

	How can i debug this and see why all my programs crash
	the only thing i have noticed is some apps come up (one i wrote
	with glade) and crash after three menu access -- any menu accessed
	three times crashes ?? weird huh ??

	Im despreate for a reply - I need a tool kit with thread support, 
	I dont want to have to look around again ...
