I was in touch with andrew - we were sharing some widgets I wrote for my GTK WM
 (Gnowm - http://www.kraken-software.demon.co.uk/gnowm/). I haven't heard
anything from him for a while - so perhaps he has canned it.

The widgets were going fine (JGWM -
http://www.kraken-software.demon.co.uk/jgwm/) until we went from GTK 1.0 to
1.1. Since then I haven't had the time to continue. I am still convinced that
the basic idea (to have a client widget whose window actually was the X Client
window and therefore bound it seemlessly into GTK) was the right way to go. I
 just haven't had the time.

Gnowm was a WM written completely in GUILE, except for the JGWM widgets and some
GDK/GTK extras for WM support which were loaded in dynamically.

Here is a screenshot : http://www.kraken-software.demon.co.uk/gnowm/jgwm.gif

I kept planning to announce these two - but never got round to it....

Have a look at the Web pages and let me know if I can be of any help.

Jules
