It seems like there is one announcement per week (average) and
personally I think that is not jamming the list too much. The policy
should be not to announce every micro version - only every minor
version. This should prevent programs from being announced more than,
say, once a month - which is acceptable right now.

If we see that there are too many announcements (more than one a day)
to this list we can still split the lists up. Currently the
announcements serve one major purpose, I think: The programs give very
good examples of how to use certain features of the GTK+ toolkit. I
even thought about a list where for every feature you have a list of
programs that use it so you can have a look there. Basically something
like:

GtkList management:
 - program xyz

GdkStyle usage:
 - program abc

and so on would create an even shorter way to a good "real-life" coding
example.

Later,
	Georg
