By virtue of being tied to gimp, gtk gets a lot of testing on a variety of
platforms.

And Solaris 2.4

These last two don't run without some hackery (there are unixisms in the
code) and both require an X server (XFree86 runs on OS/2, some commercial
X server on Win32)
