A cache is probably needed, but for now the support for proxies is more
important (firewalls, ...), and it could be used as a cheap replacement
for a cache: a caching proxy let all users of the box/site share one
cache. (Better then having n users using 30MB disk space for a netscape
cache. By the way: setting up a cache proxy is rather trivial :) )
