[gtk-list] Customizing gtk through .Xd

This is a faily mundane question but after searching the net for an answer I
am here. What is the syntax to customize features of gtk through .Xdefaults.
(I am trying change the default font for menus in the GIMP) Is there a list of
features that can be modified in .Xdefaults somewhere.
