Sure, that's no what I meant. In general, what I wanted was when you
release a mouse button, the menu stays on, but you have to *click*
on a sub-menu to get it activated. But I figured that NT does it the
same way as gtk (or vice-versa :) ).
Now all I want is that the pointer would remain an arrow, not an X.
I *do* realize that many different cursors are there
to be used, and the pointer-only philosophy used by many toolkits is
not that good (we're just used to it). But an X to select a menu item
does not look good to me. It hides half of the item text! Maybe a
right-headed pointer?
Anyway, just my 0.0002 cents.
