If the aren't too big you can send them to the list so other people
can try them out to. If the patches are on the large side you can send
them to me directly.

It sounds like the geometry management code needs to be overhauled
somewhat. It might be a good idea to re-examine that code since it
hasn't changed much since the very earliest incarnations of gtk.
